There is something evocative and comforting about the sea. Maybe it’s because our body is largely made up of water. Perhaps there’s an innate force pulling us back towards that from which we came. I personally feel such a strong connection with the sea because I have always lived close to it. It feels a part of me and a place that gives me a sense of inner calm.
